auto perform scripts on loading?

Hello,

is it possible to automatically run a script when a (remote) user opens the filemaker 7 database file?

I need to run a script which sets values according to the account name the user signs in with.

Alternatively I guess I could have the script triggered by an extra table asking the user to log in from within filemaker but how can I set this table always to be up on loading the database?

Best regards,

Axis

Hi Axis,

To do this you need to go into the File Options... dialog (accessible from the File menu) for the file in question and, in the "When opening this file___" section in the upper part of the "Open/Close" tab, select the "Perform Script" option. So Cool!
