Concactenate a name field from multiple DBs

TargetField=relationshipA::Somefield&" "&relationshipB::Someotherfield&.....


if you mean from separate files, then first create a file reference, then add the desired table(s) of this file as a Table Occurence in the relationship graph, then define a relationship.

If the data which the calculation is concatenating are drawn from related tables, a conventional calcualtion will be required to be unstored.


It is possible to store the results of such a calcualtion - eg by using an auto-enter calculation. However you should note that if you do, the calculation will not automatically update if the related values change (FileMaker's dependency tree does not extend beyond the current table). wink.gif
