bigzilla
I’m using FMP 7 I have a script attached to a button that you press to print a document. It’s set up so if you select either Print or cancel, you are returned to the layout where you called the script. Simple right, and it's always worked just that way. Here’s the problem. Each day when I finished development, I use Stuffit to archive that days work. From April 30th thru May 5th I’ve made modifications to some of the files and have done some general cleanup work. But have made no changes, that I can think of, to the Reports file. Yesterday I was in the Reports file clicked on a button that took me to my Groups layouts, looked at the information, clicked the print button to view the list in Preview mode, (I incorporated the NightWing Preview Palette into my solution) clicked cancel and was returned to the Reports screen, not the Groups layout where I called the script. The same thing happens if I print the document. I kept going back into the archive files until I found one that worked correctly which is April 30th. I’ve looked over the script in the file that works and the one that doesn't and there is absolutely no difference in the script, None! And there is no outside "Perform Script" that is called that could cause the problem either. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? Thanks for your help, Bill

bigzilla
Hi Chopper, Can you think of anything else that could cause this? The scripts from the 30th and the 5th are the exact same. I even imported the script from the 30th file into my the 5th file and it does not work. It goes to the reports file instead of staying in the layout where it was called. It is not the script, there has got to be something else. Otherwise, why would it work perfectly in one file and not another. BYW who's HG? Thanks Chopper, Bill
