imported_Curtis_B
Hi everyone, I have assembled numerous filemaker files over the years that relate to each other. They were mostly done in v5.5 where there was no option to have multiple tables within a single file. I am wondering if there is a way that I can import an entire .fp7 into a new table of an existing file. I don't see this option anywhere in the program, I just find it hard to beleive that I will have to manually define all fields, calculations, scripts and then import records. Any advice is appreciated. Curt
Ender
Sorry, Curtis, there's no built-in capability to consolidate files in FM7. There are a couple third-party tools (FM Migrator and FM Robot) that can do some of this.
FileMakin' Tom
Just another solid reason to remain with 6.0 or earlier Tom
Ender
Not really, as FM7 works just fine with multiple files.
