larryc
I screwed up! I set a script to open a window upon opening of a file and then immediately closing that window which leaves me with no file open and no way to access the file or ScriptMaker. Is there a keyboard (or other method) of interrupting or aborting a script before it runs?
FileMakin' Tom
If you included "User abort off" there probably is not. On a Mac, you can repeatedly try striking Command-"." to see if that will abort the script. Another method may be to build another file with the same password, create a relationship to the affected file and then create a script in the new file to call the closed one upon opening. This should avoid the opening script of the affected file and the you should be able to access it from the "Windows" menu. Be well . . . larryc
Thanks Tom The second method worked. I'll never debug a script on an only file again. Made a believer out me for working on backups!!!!!!!!!
larryc
OK, the dissappearing file problem is solved but now whenever I open any file in the solution I get an error "This script cannot be found or has been deleted". There are no scripts showing in any of the files. How do I get rid of this error message?
