malice Posted April 5, 2005 Share Posted April 5, 2005 I have a filemaker databse with two seperate fields Firstname and Surname, I want to be able to echo the persons full name at the top of another page. I made a new field called fullname and have it as a calculated field it calculates as First Name & " " & Surname but it does not show the Firstname AND Lastname instead it is just displaying the Firstname and a space, but not the Surname. I grabbed this calculation from the help files so not sure why it wont work (I am new to filemaker so sorry if this is a stupid question) FileMaker version is: FileMaker Developer 7.0v3 Thanks.
