National publishing company seeks 2 highly skilled FileMaker Pro Database

Developers who excel at solving technical challenges. You’ll work with a

team of talented programmers to develop cross platform solutions for a

predominately Macintosh environment using top-level equipment and

technology.

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): converting data from

specifications and statements of problems to computer code using FileMaker

Pro; analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs; write and

maintain documentation of changes to computer code, programs and

specifications; provide technical assistance to inquiries regarding errors,

problems or questions with programs; train end users or technical support

staff to use and support programs.

 

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years experience in FileMaker Pro

database development. Experience with JavaScript, writing SQL queries, html,

AppleScript or other programming and scripting languages a plus. Must be

willing to learn new computer languages and skills.
