Paul Freedman Posted March 10, 2005 Share Posted March 10, 2005 I have a file of job records & a customer file. I need a new file of Delivery Notes. For each delivery note for a customer I need to be able to select jobs for that customer. Delivered jobs need to marked as such and it should be possible to "undeliver" jobs that are returned to base. I display all jobs that are in despatch in a portal with editable fields 'Deliver' and 'Delivered'. The user marks 'Deliver' with an 'x' such jobs that he wants delivery notes raising for. There is a button on the screen that then allows a script to produce the notes for such records that are marked with an 'x' in 'Deliver'. On the return of the delivery notes the user goes to the same screen and marks the jobs as delivered by putting an 'x' into the field 'Delivered'. Although it doesn't apply in our case the user would simply not mark the record as delivered. At this point the user could I suppose mark a third field 'Returned' ith an 'x'.
