I've looked at all of the plugins available and I have determined that we need one important function developed. We need HOT KEYS.

 

Logic:

*For typeahead one could turn on the plugin through EventScript and Turn it off through EventScript ("on field entry" and "on field exit")

*Key Trapping requires too much complexity.

 

Example:

Set Hot Keys (all of the letters and numbers)

Turn On Hot Keys when field entered:

Hot Keys continue to enter data into a field normally, but trigger a simple commit record script. This allows a very straightforward multi-key portal relationship setup.

Relationship graph only requires two table occurrences with one list and one global "search" field.

 

This is only the most primitive use. Hot keys could be turned on and off around dialog boxes to allow selection from keyboard defaults.

 

If I am totally naive about something here please let me know.
