dxl
I've developed a database in FileMaker Pro 7 that works great for me. Now I want to give it to others. Here's what I don't understand: When I update my scripts, add fields, functions, how can I also give the updates to other users so they still preserve their own data. In Access, the data files are seperate from the database code. How does this work in FileMaker? Duncan
Ender
You could build your interface in a separate file from the data. This technique is called the "Separation Model" and is discussed somewhat in this and other forums.
