Officer Ron
Is there a way to keep the "FileMaker cannot share file because FileMaker network sharing is turned off" from popping up. I use FM7 over a Terminal Services (Remote Desktop Connection) in a Server 7 network. When a user connects to the Terminal Server and there is another session running the Remote client gets the notification that the File cannot be shared because another user is sharing the file already. By clicking OK the user can then acess the file, but it's annoying. I had turned network sharing on so that users didn't get the message that appears when the network sharing is turned off and this is the reason for the users getting the message for not being able to share the file because the file sharing is being utilized by another user.I don't need to share the file because I am running Server 7. Any suggestions? Thanks Ron.
