ShinZH
Is there any method to embed a movie clip into a container? I tried several ways but on every occasion, it made but a reference to multimedia file. In online manual, they say movie clip is included only as a reference not as embedded. But you know other kinds of OLE objects are easily embedded. Is it possible to make a movie clip recognized as a mere OLE object not being movie? - Shin P.S I use MS Windows 98 SE. coolboy7163
Go to www.download.com and download and type "quicktime". Install it and make it your default movie player and this should allow you to insert and view any type of movie on filemaker. ___________________________ If you like my reply, please rate me! ShinZH
Great!! It helped. But still I don't understand how it goes. Maybe the Apple and the MS have some grudge on each other that made some problem like this... or really a matter of compatibility technically. It seems that the movie file to be inserted, whichever type of encoding it is, should be QuickTime-associated for filemaker program to recognize as an real OLE object. Thanks. - Shin
