Date fields

Hi,

I am using FMP 5.5 on a PC and would like to track by date each and every single time someone enters my database to modify their records. I don't want just a creation record date, and a record last modified date, although I will use those too. I want to specifically--BY DATE--track each record modifications. Thanks!

Hi,

go to http://wmotion.com/support.html and check out their log modifications.

This is what it takes to track a record by record modification.

Either that, or you script every field as a button, to record what was in there in a new log database and then what it has changed to.

This is a very intensive procedure to do.

But, check out that pdf and see what you think.
