agraham999 Posted April 24, 2002 Share Posted April 24, 2002 I'm currently building a POS for a client that owns a restaurant/coffee shop...couldn't find a existing system that wouldn't require a lot of customization and changes that would take more time than just building from scratch. I say spend a few weeks building one or hire someone. A week of work and research and I was able to find everything I need from Barcodes, to touch screens, to cash drawers, to Credit Cards. It only took me one day (yesterday) to build the actual register UI...so if you can spare the time I say build it. It is often harder to customize someone else's work than to start fresh. Any help would be appreciated Stu For that, I suggest buying a POS system from Retailexpress.com.au. Their POS software can be used in any kind of business.
