Treating a record like a document

Recommended Posts

I've created a layout in FileMaker Pro 5.5 that is an invoice for my business. I'd like to be able to treat that invoice (record)like a document and e-mail the invoice to the client. Is there an easy way to do that?

Your best bet is to purchase Adobe Acrobat 5.0

You would then print your layout to the Adobe Acrobat printer which cretes a document that is identical to your Invoice. Then you would email the Invoice.pdf as an attachment. Your client / customer will need Acrobat reader which is free and you can supply the link to the customer for easy access to download.

Sorry about that empty quote. This is the first forum I've ever used. Thank you for the reply. I will get Adobe Acrobat and try it out. I've been looking all through this site and your forum at filemakerworld.com and wow! Thanks for being out there! - A. Pace laugh.gif

In the future there are " " to quote anther user and you can then add your thoughts below it.

The icon next it to the left is an edit button so you can change your post or add to it cool.gif
