bchickens Posted March 20, 2002 Share Posted March 20, 2002 I recently had to recover a password on a filemaker file of mine. I was however kind of confused by the results. I ended up with two different passwords on the file. I can change one of the passwords but I can not figure out how to change the other one. I am new to this company and was told to recover the passwords and update them and for some reason I can not change the 2nd password it says is being used. Any ideas? I was able to update one of them but when I try and login as the other it wont let me change the file. Is it possible that both the passwords might not have editing ability? SkarBje Posted March 22, 2002 Share Posted March 22, 2002 I mean you can rename your file and then make new passwords. Than means you have the same file just with another name. But I can not keep the template for some reason. I can get the values out in a text form but I can not get Master access to the file. Does that help?
