So, double-bytes characters cannot be input and display properly when use the standard english version. Is there anyway to work around inside FileMaker Pro 5.5 or buy a plugin or any method to make FileMaker supports unicode? If none, does anyone know FileMaker will support unicode in next version? How can I answer then your question? The truth is, that this issue is bothering at least 20 000 people in Central and Easter Europe not counting places like Turkey and so is brought to FMI attention often. Let's made some conclusion, that I received signals from unnamed source, that Unicode should be soon in FM possibly in v. 6. You guys said FileMaker 6 will supports Unicode (I also heard from other source before, but still cannot be proved till this moment), do you know when the FileMaker 6 will release? FSA members may get a late beta release if we are lucky but there have been some serious breaches of non-disclosure in the past. I have heard no rumours of release dates or features as yet for v6. One of the hottest topics last upgrade was what the version number would be - 5.1, 5.5 or 6.0 - and then all hell broke loose when the box design company put pictures of the new box on their website!
