Lock calculation result?

newbie

Recommended Posts

Okay, I'm new at this, please be kind. I have a calculation that returns a result of Yes or No. What I need is if the result is Yes, then it doesn't recalculate and stays Yes permanently. If it's No, then I need it to recalculate when the fields it references are updated. Is this possible? If not, is there any way of faking these same resutls? Thanks! (I have 4.1)

you'll need an extra field let's call it onlyYes defined as:

Case(IsEmpty(GetField("onlyYes")),test,Case(test="yes",test,GetField("onlyYes")))

Where test is your original field that return Yes/No result.
