Quotes escape character?

Hi there,

I'm wondering if there is an escape character or some other method which will let me put quotes inside a string in a calculation?

This is for a text field which is being used by "send message" to call an external command which requires quotes around some parameters.

thanks,

Macca

I use the quote a lot in string calcs. I normally create a Global(text) field, and put a quote in it. Then use the Global field in my calc, since it's much easier to troubleshoot and looks clearer, in my opinion anyway. Hope this is helpful.

Yes, if you do a lot of use of it.

The only thing that you have to be aware is that in multiuser situation you'll need to script the initializzatiion of this global field.
