double click issue

I'm making a stand alone database where the user will insert and delete images into different container fields. If I double click on the container field (as Mac people tend to do) I get the sound recorder. I haven't tested this in Windows. The user needs to be able to select the field so they can delete the image if they want to. I even scripted the container field to select itself when clicked, but once selected a double click again brought up the sound recorder.

 

Is there a way to capture a double click or make FileMaker not bring up the sound recorder?

 

Any help is much appreciated.

Double clicking will only open sound record if empty.

 

Write a script

Insert picture

and

Delete picture

 

Go to field (container)

Paste

 

Or

Go to field (container)

clear

 

Define Container field as a button to display message "Please use the Add or Delete buttons to to modify this field"
