adding 3 months to a date

I need to create a field which will automatically contain a date which is exactly 3 months later than the date which appears in another field.

Is this a scripting issue? If so, what do I do? I'm so confused!

Thanks,

Create a field called ThreeMonthes = Calc =

Datefield + 90 (Number)

When you enter the Date in DateField, ThreeMonthes will autocalculate that day plus 90 days

But if you want the same day of the month in three months time, use:

Date(Month(datefield) + 3, Day(datefield), Year(datefield))

a calculation with a date result.

But if the day doesn't exist in the destination month (for ex 11-30-2001 + 3 months)

than use corrector

3MonthFromHere=Date(Month(datefield) + 3, Day(datefield), Year(datefield))
3MonthFromHereCorrected=
If(Day(datefield)!=Day(3MonthFromHere),
Date(Month(3MonthFromHere),0,Year(3MonthFromHere)),3MonthFromHere)
