Need help from Xpert...

I am trying to make a database-solution that is a bit to complicated for a newbie like me. Therefore i would be glad if i could get some Expert-help.

I want to create like a controll-list. This is to be used by our small company when we are controlling that everthing is done when we have made a job. I want to have an editable list, so every "checkpoint" must be a single post.

My idea is that i have two DB´s. One DB is containing a post called "checkpoint". And one DB is containing the clients name and adress.

When i make a checklist i first select the client, then i have all the checkpoint-post shown in a portal. In this portal i select what kind of checkpoints i want to perform on our product by checking a checkbox (i select posts). Here i can directly edit or add new checkpoints. Then i would like to print this form and only the selected "checkpoints" should be visable.

Is it possible that when i check the checkbox in a portal row that it is changing colour?

Is this a possible solution or how should i do?
