wiles
I just upgraded to 5.5 on my imac. Everytime I start the program, free ppp is automatically opened trying to connect to the internet. How can I turn off this auto start up? I just want to work in filemaker. I do not want to be connected to the internet. wiles
Robert Schaub
Try turning of the web companoin plugin in preferences. Also your internet preference may have an option to open everytime a TCP/IP program is opened. check that to see if it is turned on.

wiles
Thanks. I clicked off the option to allow TCP/IP applications to open FreePPP. Finally, peace. bill
