Create Multiple Records and Batch Print

Recommended Posts

tom@bpfabs.co.uk

Hi there,

What I am trying to do is create a batch of 100 records and print each one. The database is used for creating sticky labels used for shipping, each label has a unique code created by the serial number. At the moment I have just created a Print Label button which prints 1 label at a time, I want to create and print 100 labels with one click.

The label is attached so you can see what I am trying to do.

Thanks Everyone in advanced

Seems straightforward unless I'm missing something.

Create your found set of records, scripted or manually.

Create a script:

Set Error Capture [On]
Allow User Abort [Off]

Go to Layout [Lable layout]//if necessary
Print Setup [With Dialog:On] // or off
Go to Record/Request/Page [First]
Loop
   Print [With Dialog:On ]//or off
Go to Record/Request/Page [Next; Exit after: last]
End Loop
Go to Layout [original layout]//if necessary
