Conditional formatting inconsistency

I'm using FM Pro Advanced 13.0v4 and have two checkbox fields in a list view layout that are set to have a dark background color when the value is equal to "Yes". They are not modified by any script and they function only when selected by the mouse pointer.

 

Here's the mystery. Within a found set of records the background may appear or may not when there is an X in the checkbox. Box 1 and 2 on the same line always match in terms of background on or background off. I've attached a small screen capture (gray lines are sub-summary rows). I get the same result when record are sorted or unsorted. Any ideas why they are behaving so unpredictably?

What is the actual formula you are using?

 

Have you tried "kicking" the fields that are mis-behaving? Uncheck/Recheck the field.
