Value = Status???

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm working on an inventory report using portals and I am trying to figure out how to show (through the portals) just inventory items that are in stock (or that have a postive value).

How would a write a calculation that takes the in stock units and then give it a value? Example:...

Hammer = 2 = "In Stock"

Thanks in advance!

Quinn

calculation Field =

cQty = 1 , stored as number , index

Relationship =

YourTable [cQty] ≥ Products [quanity]

This will show anything that has 1 or more products

A stored calculation field on the parent side of the relationship related to inventory qty on the child side. This is a compound relationship in that this is a second relationship; the first is the primary key on the parent side related to the foreign key on the child (portal) side.

Thanks Guys, but as a "novice" everything you are telling me is Latin. I ended up just duplicating another scrip and function to achieve my needs.

Thanks again!
