Transferring data from Filemaker pro 7 to other Mac applications

Recommended Posts

GRANDADLES

I'm a retired novice who set up a Filemaker pro 7.0 recipe file, made up of text lists

My mac OS is upgraded to 10.7.5 and Filemaker 7.0 is not compatible.

funds are limited and I really cannot afford the Filemaker upgrade.

Is there someone in the Denver area that has capability of opening up the 7.0 file and then copying the text data to a Word or other mac text application file? I've tried office Depot and Office Max with no luck.

Thanks, I've used FileMaker since Claris offered in my mac.

Just upgraded my OS to 10.7.5 and find that I need to upgrade the FileMaker application again.

But i'm too cheap, fankly, to pay for the latest upgrade.

The only data file on FileMakerI have is an old recipe file. It's all text.

I could copy the text from FileMaker and paste it into Word or some other application but I can't open the old Filemaker.

Unfortunately, Like a dummy, I sold my old Mac Powerbook before transferring the old files...

Attach the file to an email to me, and I will extract the data for you.
