Portal rows

I have a database that works without issue save that I need to export content from a portal to an ancient legacy system. The script, using a loop, set field and go to portal row first and portal row next with exit after last elements goes through the portal rows and select the info without a problem but if there are only two rows containing content, the script add spurious data to subsequent rows of the portal, thus making the export useless. If I delete the rows in question and run another script that's identical but uses go to record instead of go to portal row etc., etc., the export works flawlessly.

Any help on this would be terrific.

I can't think of any reason a script would have problems with a portal containing only two rows in a script that uses Go to Next Row [Exit After Last].

But try this:

Go to Related Record [show only related, PortalRelationship, using layout "Appropriate Layout"]

Loop

Select the Info {however the heck you do this} from each RECORD

Go to Record [Next; Exit After Last]

End Loop

Go to Layout [original]

Hmm, perhaps you should provide details about how you "select the info".

I used your recommendation but I think I solved the problem by using exit loop by giving a nonsensical value to a field which kept portal row in line . That did the trick. Thank you for sending me your info as without it, I never would have resolved this issue.

Best
