osric
Hi guys, I'm hoping someone can help please. I have a database detailing lung nodules seen on patient scans. we have 200 patients who may have anywhere between 1 and 20 nodules. each nodule has an individual ID and fields on size, location etc. the nodule data is stored in a table with one nodule per row. I would like to export the data into excel so that all the nodules for a single patient appear on a single row. Currently I only seem to be able to export the first nodule, or else all nodules subgrouped by patient but appearing as columns. is there a way of exporting this data in the way I require? thanks in advance! Techphan
What you are suggesting has been called both a "pivot table" and/or "cross-tab" data view. AlHunter3 has some of the best experience of the active mentors here advising on posted questions (sorry if I missed someone). Daniel Woods ("Weetbicks") has written a blog post here on his 2/21/11 post. And there is a commerical product named ccpivot that accomplishes what you are asking.
