infinessence
Hi there all ... I'm new to this forum and not only a novice at programming, but at Filemaker... so please forgive my ignorance in advance. I need to export my data (including ALL tables) from Filemaker Pro 10 Advanced to MS Excel 2007. I don't know if this makes any difference, but I'm still not 100% sure of the differences between Excel 2003 and 2007. The new menu seems messed up. Can anyone please help ? Thanks so much in advance smiley-smile

infinessence
Actually, I did NOT import correctly. Ok so I need to explain something. I'm trying to export 4 different tables into ONE Excel Spreadsheet. One has contacts, another has addresses, another has company names and another has groups. Is this even possible or do I have to do it separately ?
HBMarlowe
You'll export one table at a time, creating one excel sheet for each. If you explain a bit more about your desired end result someone may have suggestions to help you get there.
TKnTexas
Create a layout, the way you want the spreadsheet to look when exported. You can only export a single worksheet. The fields you export have to be related. Export from this layout with the found records you want. I have an INVOICE table and a child table with GL distribution. I export from the child table showing the related fields from the parent table of Invoice.
