Script Trigger on a Tab

I tried to use the new script trigger feature on a tab, but it didnt work.

I set a script triggger and assigned a script that re-logs in and checks the privileges of the user. If the privileges are "Supervisor" I have it set to go to the Admin Tab object (which I set as the Object name on the tab), but if not, to show an access denied message.

It just let me go to the tab. Its like the trigger didnt take or the script didnt run for some reason. Is script triggers not an option for a tab or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Rich

The onobjectmodify script trigger when assigned to a tab object, will trigger when you change tabs physically. The problem might be that it's not triggering when you first go to the layout, in which case you could attach a layout script trigger to run the same script. These can be set in layout setup -> script triggers.
