OVERVIEW: Motion picture technical services company is seeking an experienced FileMaker Pro systems developer to create new solutions, support existing databases and integrate systems to maximize data flow and reduce redundancies. 3 to 5 years of proven experience with FileMaker Pro, up to and including Version 9.


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study, or the equivalent.


Working knowledge of film and TV postproduction practices and film/video formats and standards is a plus, but not mandatory.


Familiarity with basic content management system concepts (i.e., document workflow, creation of input forms and administration of groups, access control lists and permissions.


Working knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Microsoft Office, Active Directory and Exchange. Working knowledge of computer operating systems, including Windows XP, Vista and Mac OSX.


Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent teamwork skills and proven experience working in a team environment.


Ability to multitask, solve problems, adapt, learn quickly and prioritize work in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment.


Superior attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to think in a clear, logical and organized manner and work under minimal supervision.
