Crashes when switching users

Hi: I am on a Mac and having some problems since I switched to version 10.5.3. I have an employee who uses my computer whenever I am away for several weeks. We usually have to change the permissions which was a simple process until I started running 10.5.3. Now whenever my employee logs in and attempts to open our database Filemaker (8.5) crashes. I have tried changing the information in sharing and permissions both for the application and for the document but I have not gotten anywhere. When I try to change the ownership of the document to my employee that selection is dimmed and I cannot choose it. Actually, I can change it when I am logged in as me but when she logs in we cannot choose that option and the changes I made have not "taken". Maybe it is more of a mac user question but I am not having the problem with any other program. Thanks for any (dumbed down) help you can give me. Susan

I don't use FileMaker files in multiple OS X accounts, but I'd guess that changing the permissions so that "Everyone" has "Read & Write" permissions should be sufficient. Or with Leopard, the owner can add multiple accounts as the User with "Read & Write" permission.

Even 9 does not work particularly well with Leopard. 9.0v3 minimum and cross your fingers.

You'd never know Apple had any relationship to FileMaker Inc, would you?

What kind of trouble do you with Leopard and FileMaker 9?
