sean p
hi everybody i have 2 Fields stack on top of each other ( Field A , Field B) i need both fields in Browse mode.......however when i change to Find mode i would like Field B to disappear or at least be transparent , since it covers Field A where the search criteria is been entered you can not see the search criteria once you leave the Field. is that possible without changing to a new layout ???? thanks in advance sean
AHunter3
Sure. Each field lets you set field behavior to allow cursor entry separately for Browse Mode and for Find Mode. Turn off cursor entry to Field B in Find Mode.
sean p
thx for the reply........but i was not detailed enough....sorry what i meant is ....i have two more Fields (Field C & Field D) where additional search criteria is entered ......so when i leave Field A , i can not see what was entered in Field A since Field B is covering it , unless i click back into Field A.......the Find itself works fine ..it's just that you can not see what was entered in Field A sorry if i was not accurate enough..... thx sean

AHunter3
I would think that if Field B does not allow cursor entry in Find Mode, and you are in Find Mode, and your cursor is in Field C or D both of which allow cursor entry in Find Mode, you would see the contents of Field A, even though Field B is covering it.
