Now when i go in 'Browse mode' and click on the dropdown list expands and a messge comes "This action can not be performed because this field is not modifiable" . What i do, please help. Maarten Witberg Posted April 25, 2008 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Drop down lists, or any kind of value lists can only be linked to a text, date, timestamp or number field, not to a calculation field. When you want to perform a calculation with the value selected from a value list, you need to use a field of one of the above types in a separate calculation field, like CalculationField = function ( FieldWithValueList ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
