Been using both Macs (now OS 10.4.11) and FMP (now 8.5) since forever. Very frustrating that I can't search FMP files with Spotlight (as in: do any of the docs on my Mac contain the word "Smith"?). Or can I? Have I been missing something? Doubt it, but it's always possible.

 

Anybody know whether this is possible with 10.5.x and/or FMP 9?

 

Any useful work-around? (Exporting all my FMP files to Excel or whatever is not an option.)
