Importing into Repeating Fields

For a new solution, I need to import data from an excel file, where column 1 is an account ID, column 2 is kit contents. They have the items listed as one item per row as I show below. I tried to import to a repeating field, but it made a new record for each row putting the item in the top field.

The excel file looks like this:

account id item

11111 membership

11111 primary

11111 fee

11111 journal

22222 membership

22222 primary

33333 membership

33333 primary

33333 fee

33333 journal

 

I need to be able to print a record as part of a letter that looks like:

11111 membership

primary

fee

journal

[David Head]

Why are you using repeating fields?
