Chris_J
Hopefully this will make sense. I have a tab called Notes, which has a notes field in it. What I would like to happen, is when a note is added, the name of the tab "notes" changes from the default black to say red. I am unable to see how to do this with conditional formatting, as it is not an option when I right click on that tab.
CobaltSky
True, tabs do not accept conditional formatting. However if you create a separate text object, you'll be able to apply conditional formatting to that - and then you can make multiple copies of it and position one over the location of the "notes" tab label for each tab panel position. It will be slightly fiddly to get the faux labels positioned correctly, but when you do, the effect should be worth the effort. smiley-wink
