Scrolling through Records without a Clickwheel

Howdy all!,

 

I have a database made that has many customer records and invoice records in it. (By the way I'm on a PC, with windows xp, and FileMaker 8)

 

I have noticed that if I use my mouse "click wheel" I can scroll from one record to the next. Is there a way to turn this feature off, and just use buttons that I have created to go from one record to the next. I have tried hiding the status area, and can't see to figure it out.

To disable the clickwheel scrolling through records (Windows only), you need to hide and lock the status area. This needs to be done with a script.
