I am trying to figure out to display only a certain set of part names in an Invoice valuelist. All parts have a category assigned to them. I have a table for the parts and a table for my invoices. Parts are either in the "Parts" category or in the "Supplies" category. When I create a supplies invoice I just want to show the part numbers and names of the supplies in the drop-down in the line-item field. There must be a way - after a couple of hours in it, I ran out of juice.

Thanks for the pointer. Sometimes there's nothing better than an example file (better than a 1000 words). Following your link I found another file - condval - that made it real easy. I'm considering to go back to some of my old databases and modify my selection drop-menus in my invoices and BOMs. Thanks again.
