dcgall Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 I have a tab set (2 tabs) on my layout, each tab having a portal. On one of the tabs (#2), I have a script that runs which goes to another layout, makes some changes to the data. BUT, when it returns the wrong tab is visible. What is showing is Tab #1. How can I keep (or change) the focus of the tab so that when I return, the script is seemless? thanks, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ender Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 In FileMaker 8.0, you can use Go to Field[] to change focus to a tab with the specified field on it. Follow that step with Commit Records[] if you don't actually want to end up in that field. In later versions, Go to Object[] in conjuction with object names can be used to explicitly set the focus to a specified object (tab) name.
