Novice Relationship Issue

I have a Case Calculation Field (Ship_To_Address) that displays an address that is found in either a seperate Companies or Contacts table.

 

The calcuation is:

Case(DeliveryShipping_Select = "Contact"; Shipping_Contacts_Link::Address1a; Shipping_Companies_Link::Co_Address1)

 

As you can see, I have another field known as DeliveryShipping_Select allowing me to toggle between the Contacts and Companies tables.

 

My problem is, sometimes I want to enter an address manually, as occassionally I don't want to use an address found iun either table. I appreciare a golden rule of Filemaker is that you can never modify a Calculation field. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you for your quick response. Just tried your suggestion, and I'm sure you will not be surprised to learn that it worked a treat. I have to applaud all those who contribute to this forum. I have always attempted to take what I have learnt from various templates, but this forum is a brilliant source of information. Thanks again.
