Bacalhau
Hi After intensive training in FileMaker 8.0 during half a day, I just got the glorious assignment of making a database in 6.0 instead.... I'm supposed to do the following: -Register persons -Create two separate events with their respective invitations -Print envelopes -Print nametags I received a list of 300 names in excel (initially exported from a filemaker 8.0. file) and went on to make a record based on the excel-workbook. something that went fine, with the correct categories and so on. but the events? how do i do that?? do i have to create two new databases, or is it possible to make new records within the existing one (as in 8.0)? Best regards Trond
AHunter3
In FileMaker 6, each table has to be in a separate file. You relate them to each other, just as you would in FileMaker 8, but you have to define that relationship twice (once in each file) if you want it to be "understood" on both ends.
