gijane Posted March 22, 2008 Share Posted March 22, 2008 I am trying to add a cumulative tracking component to the invoicing system (see related thread at http://filemakertoday.com/com/showthread.php?t=17011) Essentially something that once an invoice is complete it will export and keep a cumulative record of transaction info made by a customer with all pertainent invoice info such as date, inv #, Amount, payment method etc. I have been looking at the following post http://filemakertoday.com/com/showthread.php?t=16845&highlight=cumulative+portal to see if it might work, but I can't figure out how to connect the two. I'm not sure if it would be better with a script, or portal set up. Either way I'm stumped on how to set it up. Btw if it's better as a portal setup, I apologize ahead of time for putting this post in the wrong section of the forum. I hope I'm explaining this correctly. I only have an older version it appears, and you may have updated it since then. (this would also save you having to re-import data into a different copy).
