jcotter
Does anyone have a solution for generating a PDF file from a FMP 5/6 report layout? I have found one potential shareware solution called PCLSoft, which is not specific to FMP5/6. This utility lets one convert a PCL file (i.e. "print" using a PCL printer driver, but output to file) to a PDF file. I am interested in knowing if there are other solutions - especially if they can be done within FMP's scripting. Thanks in advance.
AHunter3
Install a PostScript printer (you don't need an actual physical printer to do that), and print to file. Result = PostScript file. Run GhostScript on it and you can convert it to PDF. That's the freeware solution. There are direct-to-PDF printer drivers that are cheaper than Adobe's, too. Install one of those and print to that "printer" = PDF.
