Russian_Laszy Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 I imported a bunch of stuff off an Excel spreadhseet (which had like 10 000 entries). Then, I realized I needed to also import another column from the same spreadsheet (which I had passed the last time around). I added a new text field to my table called Docket No, deleted all the records and re-imported the Excel file again this time with the Docket column. However for some uknown reason, every record's Docket No is empty. Why would this happen? Any ideas? Another weird thing, I don't know if this has anything to do with anything, but you know how Filemaker automatically creates a field and a field label in the default layout when you add a new field to a table? Well when I created the Docket Field it was automatically created in my default layout but the field background was black. Anyway thanks for any help because I am stuck and have no idea what to do.
