hi everybody....

can sombody help me ??? i,m getting frustrated.....!!!

 

ok.. here's the probleme

 

i am using FM9 pro and and have modified one of the starter solutions (contact Management ) to my needs ......nothing special just added couple of more fields that i needed and costumizied the appearance a little .....

 

now every time i request a new record either per script or per menu it jumps to the fifth field ( as of tab order) . i have a "goto field" command after

"NewRecord/Request" ....however FM will not execute it .....

 

can somebody help.....it is ver annoying to always click into the first field before inputing data.

Thanks for the reply....

however nothing seems to work........i have reset and set the tab order again and it seems it always goes to the field with the tab number 5......whatever field you may have given the tab number 5 to........

 

any ideas ??????????

have you selected a field to actually go to in your [go to field] script step?

 

is this the very last step of your script? (nothing else is entered after this within the script; no sub-scripts etc.)

 

and you have reset a custom tab-order?

i finally got it.......it was caused by an automation plug-inn i have .....

(FM Butler)

rewrote the automation script......works fine now
