jren@blueyonder.co.uk
I send bulk emails directly from Filemaker Pro 7 via Outlook Express but find many do not arrive, probably through spam control features on server. Is there any way of delaying the timing of the emails so there is, say, a minute's delay before the next one goes which would, I understand, get over this problem. Or is there any other solution? Jack Rodgers
Your email host could be blocking bulk email sends without telling you. And sometimes people get their host blackmailed by sending large mailings through them. Checkout SMTPit Pro for bulk email sends. Or exporting to a pro bulk mailer application. There are web sites that host SMTP servers that bypass this problem. Or you can set up your own SMTP server on your computer.
doughemi
Some other alternatives (including Jack's suggestion to use SMTPit) are discussed in this thread. --Doug
