FileMaker Developer Needed - DC

Hi All - The Chronicle of Higher Education seeks a qualified developer with at least 3 years of development experience in FileMaker Pro 6, 7, or 8 and at least one year of working with 7 or 8.

 

This position will be responsible for defining, creating and maintaining a wide variety of cross platform FileMaker databases and systems for our editorial and business departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong relational design, advanced scripting and design skills. Prior experience in print and online publishing will be helpful, but not necessary. The position requires direct communication with technical and non-technical staff, therefore candidates will need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Candidates with additional skills in HTML, XML, SQL, JDBC/ODBC, and/or project management are preferred.
