Maarten Witberg Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 generally speaking, cmd-Q will do nicely.... filemaker will auto-save changes to records or prompt for save. any global script variables ($$var) will be set to null, and global fields will be reset to their original value (usually null). However your solution itself might require a shutdown procedure - if you need the values in global fields and variables retained for the next session - if you need to close related files which are hidden - etc. so the answer is, it depends :rolleyes: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
